Richard has been working in finance and banking for over 13 years, within both financial firms and operating companies.
Prior to joining Wireless Generation, Richard spent two years as a director for Kluge & Company, a private equity firm run by John Kluge. At Kluge & Company, Richard was responsible for overseeing operations, managing the budgeting process and leading financial transactions for 11 portfolio companies. Richard also made recommendations on new business proposals and performed investor relation activities.
Before joining Kluge & Company, Richard spent four years at GTE Corporation. The last two years at GTE, Richard worked as a manager in corporate development performing business valuations and strategic assessments for potential acquisitions/divestitures. Prior to working in corporate development, Richard spent two years rotating through various financial operating positions within GTE's Leadership Development Program.
Prior to graduate school, Richard spent two years as a financial analyst within Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's investment banking division. Richard began his career as a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Richard holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from Dartmouth College, and an M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
