Q. How do I get a special room rate?
A. Tell the hotel that you are attending the Wireless
Generation Summer Institute.
Q. What is the conference fee?
A. $399; includes the cost of the Institute and meals.
The fee does not include hotel room or airfare.
Q. When do I need to arrive?
A. You can arrive the evening of July 25th and leave
late afternoon on July 27th. The conference begins promptly at 8 a.m.
on July 26th. If you prefer to arrive the morning of the 26th, please
arrive by 8 a.m. The conference is ends at 3 p.m., July 27th, so flights
should be made to allow for check out, transportation to the airport,
etc.
Q. Will I be picked up at the airport?
A. Transportation to and from the airport is the responsibility
of the participant.
Q. By when should I book my hotel room?
A. Book your hotel room once you receive your registration
packet from Wireless Generation. Due to limited availability book, please
your room no later than June 15th.
Q. Into which airport do I fly?
A. You should fly into Louis Armstrong New Orleans
International Airport, airport code: MSY.
Q. Is there an agenda or preliminary
agenda available?
A. A draft agenda will be mailed to you in your confirmation
of registration packet and is available above.
Q. What kind of attire should I bring?
A. Dress comfortably; it will be summer in New Orleans!
You may wish to bring a sweater to the air conditioned sessions.
Q. Are meals included during the Institute?
A. Meals will be provided as follows: Thursday, July
26: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments during breaks are provided
by Wireless Generation. Friday, July 27: Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments
during breaks are provided by Wireless Generation.
