Map
Introducing an educator-friendly learning map.
An interactive learning map provides a breakthrough new way for educators to see what their students know, understand, and can do. The map uses hexagons that represent state or common core standards to build a visual learning progression, or map. The hexagons turn green as students achieve mastery of each standard. The map makes it possible to combine data from multiple assessments into one, educator-friendly visualization that helps to:
- Determine learning needs for the whole class or gauge an individual student's strengths and needs to adapt instruction accordingly
- Quickly identify student progress along the learning progression, using color-coded representations of performance levels
- Analyze data from various assessment types using a common visual language that can be panned or zoomed for further investigation
- Understand how standards relate to one another and identify what parts of the curriculum are successful and less successful
