Joan Lebow

VP Corporate Communications

Joan Lebow is Vice President of Communications for Wireless Generation, where she is responsible for public relations and other communications initiatives. Joan is the primary contact for members of the media seeking information about Wireless Generation and also reaches out to press around the country to further awareness of the company's products and services.

Before taking on her current role, Joan spent ten years in health care communications, first directing PR for Mount Sinai Medical Center and then overseeing communications, including public relations, web marketing and social media, for Atlantic Health System's hospitals in northern New Jersey. She also led the PR effort for Local Initiatives Support Corp (LISC), a national nonprofit that supports community-based development and worked as a press secretary to New York State Comptroller H. Carl McCall and New York City Mayor David N. Dinkins. Before transitioning to PR, Joan was a business journalist. She was a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal covering the national real estate beat, and a reporter for Crain's New York Business, covering the real estate, retail and fashion industries in New York. Joan received a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
